Honeycomb Shades

Honeycomb shades are the most energy efficient shades available at Hunter Douglas, reducing up to 50 percent of the energy lost through normal heating and cooling. The shades are designed with a cellular honeycomb shape that has pockets to trap air in order to keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. There are a variety of honeycomb options available, including single comb, double comb, or even triple comb to increase the energy efficiency. These attractive shades also improve room acoustics by reducing outside noise. Honeycomb shades are available with VertiglideTM options to cover large windows or Top-Down/Bottom-Up to allow varying amounts of privacy and sun filtration.

Roman Shades

The classic look of roman shades can give any home an elegant, modern look. These energy efficient shades are designed out of sculpted folds, ranging in size from four inches to six inches. Roman shades are available in a large variety of fabrics and colors. The different fabrics provide varying degrees of sound reduction and light filtration. Most roman shades can be equipped with VertiglideTM options or Top-Down/Bottom-Up to cover large windows and to allow for different amounts of sun filtration and privacy.

Roller Shades

Roller shades offer a modern, clean window covering option. These versatile shades create an uncluttered look that can be easily paired with curtains or sheers for a dynamic look. Although simple in design, roller shades are available in a wide variety of fabrics, including high performance solar screens that decrease heat and UV sunlight. The head rail can be upgraded to a variety of different top treatment options to conceal the fabric, creating a clean look.

Sheers and Shadings

Sheers and shadings create light-diffusing benefits, while maintaining a soft, elegant look. The fabric allows natural light to filter into the room, and it diffuses the light across the room. The fabric also filters out glare, brightness and UV rays from the sun to protect your furniture and flooring.

Woven Woods

For a more natural feel and appearance, look no further than woven wood shades. Crafted out of the strongest, most durable material, woven woods are designed to reduce bowing, breaking, or stretching. Woven wood shades are exceptional at filtering UV light and increasing insulation properties. For more light control options, additional linings can be added. Woven woods can be customized with fabric bandings or valances. Similar to other styles, they can be upgraded with the Top-Down/Bottom-Up feature to increase privacy options.
