Classic Coverings now features a repair center in our off-site warehouse on the NE side of town.  We repair primarily Hunter Douglas products, whether purchased from us or purchased elsewhere.  Other brands can be repaired on a case by case basis (or returned to the factory for repair), as we have limited access to parts and limited parts on hand for alternative brands.  Please note we do not repair Bali or Del Mar brands.  Both Dave and John have gone through Hunter Douglas repair training and can repair many products, eliminating the costly and lengthy process of shipping a product back to the factory for repair.  We know you don't want to be without your shade for weeks, so we try very hard to do our own repairs and turn them around within about a week (many times faster, but lead time varies based on work load and parts availability).  You can drop off and pick up your shades at our showroom at 1465 SW Knoll Ave. in Bend. 

It is most cost effective for you (and faster) if you can bring your blind in to our showroom for repair.  If you are in need of assistance to de-install or re-install your blind, we are glad to send our technician out but must charge our minimum trip charge of $65.00 per trip.

If you have a Hunter Douglas product, we will check the status of warranty and determine if there will be a charge or if Hunter Douglas will cover it for you.  Most other brands must be returned to the factory for warranty coverage (and they do not cover shipping charges).  In the event your blind is not covered by warranty, following are some of our standard charges:

Replacement Parts:  We carry a small supply of parts in our showroom but the bulk of our parts (bins and bins of parts) are located in our off-site warehouse, so if you need a particular item you may want to give us a call first so we can find the part in the warehouse before you make the trip in to the showroom.  Sometimes it is helpful to see the part, other times we know just what you need and can identify it easily -- especially if you are looking for cord cleats or tassels.

Child Safety Parts:  If you are looking for Cord Cleats, Cord Tensioners or Break-Away Tassels to retro-fit your existing shades for child-safety, we will gladly provide these parts to you free of charge.  Just let us know how we can help you to make your home safer for your children (and pets, too).
