For battery-powered window coverings, we offer a program to replace the batteries onsite and thoroughly check out your shades on an annual basis or whenever service is needed.  We service both Somfy lithium ion battery wands and Hunter Douglas alkaline battery wands.  Note that on shades with Somfy motors purchased prior to May 2008, the lithium ion battery wand is not reusable, and must be replaced with a reusable wand.  We have these reusable wands available with or without the lithium ion batteries, which may also be purchased at most hardware stores, including the Home Depot.
