Retractable awnings

Retractable awnings are designed to protect you and your family from the harsh rays of the sun. They provide many additional benefits to their owners. A high quality retractable awning will also keep you dry in a light rain, reduce heat gain in your house, reduce annoying glare, stop interior fabric fading and make your deck or patio a cool, comfortable place to relax.

We offer the Eclipse line of retractable awnings for those customers desiring top quality and durability.  Eclipse awnings are simply the best available in America.  Select from the Eclipse® model, with projections to 11’-6”, or the Total Eclipse®, with projections to an amazing 16’-6”.  Also available is the Eclipse-Lite, a lighter duty and less expensive model, with projections to 10’-2”.

Queen Eclipse with mountains-250

Eclipse®: The Eclipse Retractable Awning is our most popular model, offering maximum value for your investment.  This awning can be mounted just about anywhere, on the wall, soffit or roof.  We offer manual crank and motorized models.  The Eclipse is available in widths up to 40 feet, and projections out to 11’-6”.  The Eclipse features smooth clean lines in its powder-coated aluminum frame, stainless steel hardware and over 900 lbs. of spring tension in its lateral arms. This ensures a great looking, high performance awning.

Crosswater Total Eclipse-250

Total Eclipse®: There’s no better – or bigger – way to enjoy your outdoor living space, while maximizing your protection from the sun and heat, than with the Total Eclipse®.  The Total Eclipse provides the ultimate in strength and performance with projections up to an incredible 16’-6”.  Unlike other systems, the Total Eclipse uses more substantial components to ensure state of the art performance at 13', 14'-9”, and 16'-6” projections. Total Eclipse uses a 50mm steel torsion bar. That’s 25% larger than other systems. The arms and arm assembly are larger in extrusion profiles and cast parts. The installation brackets are larger for added strength. The front bar has a larger exterior dimension for the stability required in a unit this size. The casting in the elbow is larger to transfer more tension to the fabric.

The belt is also larger with nine larger cables. Large projections are a serious business and you need a serious awning. Other systems use the same components for their 13 foot projection as they use for smaller projections. NOT ECLIPSE!  Don’t settle.  If you need 13 foot coverage or more, you need the Total Eclipse.

Eclipse Lite: This is the most affordable model in the Eclipse family.  The E-Lite brings outdoor living to everyone, and is made with the same quality and care as the top of the line Eclipse® and Total Eclipse® retractable awnings.  And while the E-Lite may be the “little brother” of the Eclipse, don’t be fooled, as the E-Lite compares favorably to what many others tout as their top of the line.

lc_drop-250 Eclipse Drop Arm Window Awning: This custom made retractable window awing can be an attractive addition to your home.  Available in more than 200 beautiful, solution-dyed woven acrylic fabrics, you’re sure to find the perfect pattern to complement your outdoor living style.  This awning mounts on your wall above a window or group of windows.  When extended, the awning partially or totally covers the window, shading the interior and providing privacy.

keyvisual_reg7-250PERGOLINO -- Motorized Pergola Awning by Stobag

The Pergolino pergola awning from Stobag, a leading European awning manufacturer, is a retractable weather protection system for decks and patios.  Unlike retractable lateral arm awnings, Pergolino is able to withstand high winds and weather due to its guide rails and support structure.  Available in widths up to 18 feet and projections up to 16 feet, Pergolino can provide sun and weather protection to most outdoor living spaces.

What makes Pergolino unique is its fabric tensioning system, which ensures that the fabric awning cover is taut in any position and at any angle.  Gas-filled cylinders integrated into the two guide rails pull the awning front bar away from the structure, and the Somfy electric motor integrated into the awning roller tube pulls the front bar back toward the structure.  Tension is maintained on the fabric at all times.

The fabric is solution-dyed woven acrylic from Sattler, Sauleda, or Sunbrella, which resists fading and is water resistant.  When the Pergolino is pitched at least 10 degrees, water runs off the front of the awning.  The tensioned fabric prevents water from pooling on the awning cover.  When retracted, the awning cover is protected from the weather by the completed enclosed Pergolino housing.

The support posts, guide rails, and wall brackets can be flexibly positioned to accommodate the unique needs of each application.
