Dave Latimer – Owner, Sales and Installation Manager
Dave is the driver in this business – he is our business visionary, our product expert, installation guru, and technology whiz. Ultimately, he takes responsibility for ensuring that all of our projects are completed to our customer’s expectations and satisfaction. Dave leads our Shade on Demand team in automation projects for interior window coverings, exterior solar screens and retractable awnings. He provides pre-wire consultations, system design and integration with home automation systems, installation and programming. Coming from the hi-tech sector, the move into window coverings automation was a natural for him. Dave is a detail guy – in fact, his nickname is “Detail Dave." He will work above and beyond the call of duty to achieve the results that he expects, and he takes a hands-on approach with training our staff and trouble shooting complex installation scenarios.

Mari Latimer – Owner, Office Manager
While Dave is the idea-guy, Mari is the behind-the-scenes, make-it-happen, implementer of those ideas. She is the glue that holds the business together, with her fingers in all areas of the business. Her main responsibility is business and financial management, along with implementation of marketing programs, but she steps in wherever she is needed – from answering the phone to showroom sales to shoveling snow. Along with Dave, she takes responsibility for staff training, creation of company policies, procedures and systems; and supporting the staff to do whatever is necessary to create customer satisfaction.
Mari has been active in Hunter Douglas quality programs, including a 2 year post on the Gallery Dealer Advisory Council (2006-2007), the Alustra Product Improvement Advisory Council, the Dealer Steering Committee for the Design Studio Team, and the Quality Discussion Leaders Group to help Hunter Douglas achieve world class levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
