Classic Window Coverings was established 1988 as a small, independently owned window treatment business in Central Oregon. In 2006, we opened Central Oregon’s first and only Hunter Douglas Gallery, a 2,000 square foot showroom located in Bend. Since then, our offering has expanded to include automated shading systems, as well as a wide variety of exterior shading solutions via our sister company, Shade on Demand, co-located with our Gallery showroom.
As of mid-2022, Classic Window Coverings is under new leadership. Joseph Gymrek, formerly of Maui, brings many years of experience with the sales and installation of custom flooring and window coverings. After moving to Central Oregon in 2019, he joined Classic Window Coverings to lead the installation department, and in June 2022, he purchased the business and now serves as general manager.
The team at Classic Window Coverings includes experienced sales, installation, and showroom support staff.
- Carrie Steele, who joined the company in 2007, leads the interior window coverings sales department and has become one of the leading Hunter Douglas design consultants in the nation, helping customers overcome window covering challenges in their home or business.
- Troy Williams, who joined the company in 2014, leads the exterior shading solutions sales department, and helps customers find the best solutions for shading their patios and windows from among the company’s vast offering. In the office, our sales assistants help customers with product selection in the Gallery and schedule FREE in-home design consultations.
- Our project coordinators ensure that your window coverings or exterior shading project runs smoothly and that you are kept informed of expected ship dates, installation dates, and any schedule changes.
- And in the field, our professional installers provide best-in-class installation services and warranty support.
